Lucy Beresford is a writer, broadcaster and psychotherapist. She presents a sex and relationships programme on LBC Radio every Saturday evening and appears regularly on Sky News reviewing the papers on Press Preview and Sunrise.
Lucy is a weekly commentator on topical stories on national and international radio and television. She was the on-screen psychotherapist for the 6-part series Angry Britain for Channel 5 and has appeared on a variety of other programmes across various broadcasters. She covered the Royal Wedding for BBC TV and Al-Jazeera, and has also appeared in Channel 4’s 100 Greatest Sex Symbols, All I Want For Christmas on UKTV Style, Extreme Skinny Celebrities (1 & 2) on Living TV, and It’s Only A Theory for BBC4.
Lucy is the author of Hungry for Love & Invisible Threads (both Quartet Books), Happy Relationships: at home, work & play (McGraw Hill), Something I’m Not (Duckworths) and a number of published short stories. She reviews fiction for Sunday Telegraph, The Spectator, Literary Review and New Statesman, and has written articles for Evening Standard, Woman’s Weekly, The Times, the Independent and the Straits Times (Singapore).
She works at The Priory Hospital Roehampton and in private practice. She has a Masters and an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapy and is UKCP registered. She also has a BA in English Literature.
